Louis joined the surveying industry in 2022 and has experience working within open-pit mining operations in Southland. Originally from South Korea, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Energy Resources Engineering before relocating to New Zealand. During his time in the mining sector, Louis has provided survey support across a range of mining and civil projects, including open-pit coal operations, civil construction, excavation monitoring, and geotechnical monitoring programmes. He has also been involved in topographic surveys, survey set-out, UAV operations, and survey data processing for operational and project requirements. In 2025, Louis joined the team at Terramark as a Surveying Technician.
