Terramark has provided its services and our extensive range of skills and expertise to several gold mining and gravel extraction companies extending from Marlborough to Southland. These projects included working with alluvial, hard rock, or beach sand. Terramark has provided multiple planning-related services including, negotiations with Manawhenua, preparation of concession and access agreement with the Department of Conservation (DOC) and/or LINZ, preparation of consent applications for both Regional and District Councils, preparation and presenting at notified consent hearings, and policy development for Council-initiated plan changes.

A recent gold mining project included Terramark providing comprehensive planning services associated with their gold mining operations in the Upper Clutha River and Orepuki, Southland. In the case of this project, consenting requirements involved joint hearings across three districts as well as with the Otago Regional Council.
